2010: Day 12: The Residence

A midst the beginning games of El Copa de Mundial (The World Cup) Tournament and high 80 degree weather, countless BBQ's going down, many more liters of alcohol being consumed, and of course women in their baby-tees and their short shorts the debauchery continues...
As the All City Project Crew nears the midpoint of our experiment, and the ACP Crew coming off some notable "victories" at Fish Bowl and Il Pirata the aspirations of gaining "The Belt" becomes closer to reality.

So why would Day 12 be any different? Day 12 was, 2 words, "Love-Ly!" Or 2 other words, "The Residence," was next on the debauchery list of bars located at 718 14th Street in S.F.'s Castro District. Some may remember The Residence to be the bar formerly known as Amber but after some renovations and some down time, The Residence is the new 2.0 upgraded operating system however, one may not find it right away because of the absence of an apparent sign or marquee, I guess it's a P.O. (Players Only) spot. With this new upgrade all systems ago and it's truly a "rebirth." No wonder when I stepped into The Residence I felt like I was stepping back into time, the time of the European Renaissance. Much of the decor and art represented classical antiquity meeting contemporary knowledge of the Renaissance era, that explains the big Hi-Definition LCD TV hanging over the bar.

The Residence is a dimly lit intimate setting to hang with friends or a significant other and catch some tasty cocktails, beers, and wine. And boy is there a menu for some real drinks made with fine spirits from around the world. Some of the cocktails featured are the Hurricane, The Eaton Cocktail, Jalisco En Fuego, London Calling, the Tokyo Schoolgirl (must be 21 to enjoy), and the Frisco Sangria to name a few. The Residence also offer Red, White, and Sparkling wines for the vino drinkers and of course the typical beers that help make a fine establishment such as The Residence what it is.

Our main man Phil was our devout mixologist again, you may remember him from Opening-Day of the All City Project at sister bar Minx (refer to Day 1: Minx). Phil you e'ffin rock, you rock star! Thanks again! Happy Hour is from 5-8pm Monday through Thursday but debauchery is available 24/7 365.2422 days a year! The All City Project Crew would like to give a big All City Shout-out to the following folks; Jess, Ethan, Basil, Monica, Wesam, Dustin, Angela, Fuoad, Brandon, Kalani, Gigi, Ian, Melissa, Karen, Rea, Roxanna, and Selena....and everyone else that has come out and joined us on our debaucherous mission and for those who haven't made it out yet, we look forward to seeing you soon! Another one down and another one to go...The ACP Crew are all still going strong and hard with no stopping anytime soon!!! And we on to the next one...!!! And I'm out!

Yours Truly,

Suck dis Freezie You Beezy!
