2010: Day 14: The Cigar Bar and Grill

Like a tidal wave of... overwhelming emotion and joy...the All City Project just keeps it coming baby! And, in the wake of tremendous jubilation and excitement surrounding the United States and England's 1-1 draw over the weekend, on the heels of the Giants' sweep of the A's and their win against Baltimore Monday, and after the convincing Celtics, Game 5, win over the Los Angeles Lakers this past Sunday (I told ya'll they would win)...the All City Crew found the perfect place to start their third week of debauchery off in celebratory "old-fashion"; at The Cigar Bar and Grill! The Cigar Bar and Grill is located at 850 Montgomery just off Broadway and it is definitely one of the premiere establishments in the city. The CB&G has a very mature and sophisticated feel unlike SOME of the neighboring businesses and industry icons located along Broadway and up Columbus.

The feel and ambiance of the CB&G was that of... a presidential villa in Spain, a country club along the French Riviera, and a rustic Italian summer home...all rolled into one! The open courtyard, smoking rooms, pool room, television room, and open dining area are unrivaled... and the happy hour is as economically practical as they come. So, the earlier you get there the better the prices will be!

The drink menu featured a variety vodkas, various gins, dozens of digestives, several grappas, scores of bourbons and whiskeys, numerous tequilas, several single malts and blended scotch(es), countless cognacs, armagnacs, brandys , rums, and bottled beers from all over the world and every corner of the globe! There were also scores of specialty drinks and a myriad of other cocktails to enjoy! The cigar & wine selection was extensive and worldly, and the food from the grill was excellent!

Our bartenders for the evening were Cheney and Jake...and both these dudes made sure we were well taken care of. By the way...can't forget about our main man Jesus...gracias compenero. So, if you are looking for a great place to hang with friends, eat & drink like kings and queens, and smoke the finest cigars to your heart's content...I think that the Cigar Bar and Grill is... hands down...King of the Hill.

A special thank you goes to Pauline and Joe...right on for getting dressed to the nines, suited, and booted. "It's good to be the king." The rest of you All City Players know who you are! Big Ups!!!!!
I'm Stretchvet... and I approve this post!

Cigar Bar is definitely a Player's Only spot, great service, wonderful food, and even better choices of beverages. Bust out the Cubanos, Dominicanos, or any other favorite cigar and fiya up!
