2010: Day 24: Dragon Lounge

Aww yeah... one thing is for sure: the human body is friggin resilient! 4 weeks of drinking is a definite toll-taker, but we're still tickin' like Timex. Pockets are lighter than when the month started for sure, filling up and topping off your tank every night can do that to your bank roll. Day 24 really wasn't the time to cease fire, the bombardment upon the liver continued relentlessly. If you try really hard and put your mind to it, anything can be achieved... even self-destructive journeys to oblivion.

On the 24th Day of Debauchery my true love gave to me: hella pints of beer and a little bit of Hennessy. The Dragon lounge is on 24th and Taraval in the Sunset District, conveniently located a half a block from the Police Station. The significance of this is two-fold. One: If you're getting scrapped and mopped on by a clique of FOBS or drunk sunset Irishmen (can you say SDI? Natives feel me!), help is not far away. The SFPD might put their donuts down for a minute and help a citizen out. Two: If you're caught riding dirty then your trip to incarceration will be prompt.

The bartenders at Dragon Lounge (Vivian and Rowie) were super hot and really friendly. After rapping with them for a minute, I could see in their eyes that they've been hit on more times than an Everlast Hydrostrike™ punching bag. Reggie is the owner and Mama San helps dish out libations too. Bar in the front, pool table in the back... diggin' the scene with a gangsta lean. Cheapest (domestic) beers are $3.50, and I couldn't help but order the bottle of Louis XIII, because I ball that hard. Definitely a cool spot to hit up, The All City Crew had its way with it.

Shout outs to my boy Jah for coming through, Tommy, Rally-O, Spence, Sco-Drizz, Lu, Ed, Miles, Fouad, Basil, Arcy, Goose, Joe, Jasmine, and Alana, everyone else my fuzzy memory forgot. Peace out, we're doing it again tonight.

This has been an E*Fizzle™ Production.
